Founded in 1971, Rainbow Draperies began as a small workroom creating premium drapery for decorators, Sears, and other major retailers. The business flourished under the leadership of its original owner, Maxine, followed by Margaret, and later Cheryl Meiklejohn—who, along with her daughters Kim and Penny, built Rainbow’s reputation for creativity, reliability, and precision. Today, Rainbow Draperies continues to serve Edmonton and, surrounding area as a trusted name in locally made hand-sewn fabrication.
